Hockey East Tabs Katie Pyne Co-Player of the Week

Katie Pyne scored two goals, including the overtime winner, in Saturday's quarterfinal win.
AMESBURY, Mass. - Boston College forward Katie Pyne has been named a Hockey East Co-Player of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.
This marks the first career weekly honor for Pyne, who earned the Co-Player of the Week honors alongside Northeastern's Alina Mueller.
Pyne scored two goals, including the game-winning goal, in BC's 4-3 overtime win over UConn in the Hockey East Tournament quartefinal round on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
The Cohasset, Mass. native tied the game with less than four minutes to play in the third period and then potted the winning goal two minutes, 39 seconds into overtime. Pyne recorded four shots on goal and a plus-3 rating in the game, which marked her second multi-goal game of the season. The sophomore now has 11 goals and six assists for 17 points on the year.
