#5 Northeastern Holds Off #15 Eagles 2-1 in Beanpot Title Game

Hannah Bilka scored her 12th goal of the season.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Hannah Bilka scored her 12th goal of the season in the closing minutes, but fifth-ranked Northeastern held on to beat the Eagles 2-1 in the Championship Game of the 44th Beanpot at Kelley Rink on Tuesday night.
The Huskies scored on deflections in the first and second periods to take a 2-0 lead into the third period. Bilka buried a loose puck in the slot with Abigail Levy pulled for an extra skater at 18:26 of the third, but BC couldn't equalize to force overtime.
Bilka led the team with seven shots on goal, while Levy finished with 34 saves.

- The Eagles did not have a power play chance, while the Huskies went 1-for-2 with the man advantage.
