The Eagles practiced at tag tempo on Saturday morning for Bowl Practice No. 2
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Bowl practice season continued on Saturday morning inside Fish Field House, with Boston College 19 days away from the Fenway Bowl against SMU.Â
First Song in Team Flex: "On Me", Lil Baby
Team: Kye Robichaux ripped off a long gain up the left sideline on the first play of the session... the defense snuffed out a wide receiver screen for a tackle for loss... Jacobe Robinson improvised for a nice scramble up the left sideline with the twos, his first of many positive runs of the day... Thomas Castellanos connected with Lewis Bond for a long gain down the left sideline in the second session... Castellanos and Bond quickly linked up for another chunk play on a nice rollout and running throw from Castellanos... Dino Tomlin picked up a big first-down gain after Castellanos found him on a screen... KP Price made a leaping PBU on Dino Tomlin to prevent a big gain over the middle...Nate Johnson showed serious burst, taking the ball out of the backfield for chunk yardage.
7-on-7: Castellanos connected with Jeremiah Franklin for a nice gain over the middle, and later found his other tight end Charlie Gordinier for a touchdown in situational red zone work... KP Price made another sensational play in the middle of the end zone, nearly coming down with an interception on a PBU against Lewis Bond... Freshman cornerback Carter Davis saved a touchdown on a last-second PBU in the corner of the end zone with the twos... Clive Wilson recovered a fumble with the twos to puncutate a good day for the defense... Jacobe Robinson ended the session with the twos, with a touchdown pass to Datrell Jones.Â
