
Eagles Win Convincingly Versus UMass Lowell

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball led wire-to-wire in a dominating 91-53 victory against UMass Lowell on Sunday afternoon in Conte Forum.Â
The Eagles snapped a three-game skid, improving to 4-5 on the season. UMass Lowell falls to 0-7.Â
Four players scored in double figures, while all 10 players who saw action scored. Andrea Daley shot an efficient 8-of-10 en route to a game-high 18 points and grabbed six rebounds. T'yana Todd registered a season-best 17 points and dished out three assists.Â
Dontavia Waggoner netted 14 points, pulled down a game-best eight boards, and blocked three shots. Lili Krasovec poured in a career-best 11 points, leading a bench unit that scored 27 points. Kaylah Ivey handed out a career-high 11 assists with six points.Â
It was all BC from the start, hitting six of their first nine shot attempts capped off by one of two first-quarter 3-pointers by JoJo Lacey, giving BC a 14-6 lead. The Riverhawks cut the lead to a possession before Ivey and Daley ended the first quarter on a 7-0 surge to give BC a 23-14 advantage going into the second period.Â
The lead stretched to as much as 19 on multiple occasions in the first half. Todd's buzzer-beater at the end of the second period gave the Eagles a 45-26 edge at the break.Â
Boston College continued its dominance, beginning the third period on a 9-1 spurt after a trifecta from Todd to push the lead to 28. The Eagles led the rest of the way by more than 20 and improved to 7-0 all-time against the Riverhawks.Â
The Eagles return to action on Wednesday against UMass at 7 p.m. in Conte Forum.Â
