CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Boston College football team took to the practice field inside Fish Field House for the second morning in a row on Saturday. It was a high-tempo session that featured high-level quarterback play from all three players on the depth chart.

Offensive Notes: In the first offensive series for the twos, Nate Johnson juked a defensive back on screen pass from Matthew Rueve… the next series started with a long run up the middle by Alex Broome with the ones… quarterback Thomas Castellanos added a long scramble up the middle… Castellanos then went deep to a wide open Jaedn Skeete on a post… with the twos, Jacobe Robinson completed a pass to tight end Matt Ragan as pocket collapsed and receivers covered… Castellanos worked through his progressions to hit a receiver on a deep crossing route… Johnson burst past a tackler on a completion from Robinson… on third-and-goal from the four, Castellanos hit Kye Robichaux open in the end zone… Rueve completed a 27-yard dime to Ismael Zamor for six… on third-and-goal from the nine, Robinson won a race to the pylon.

Defensive Highlights: The defensive line owned the edge in second period of play for the twos… the first team defense featured a pair of freshman corners with Max Tucker and Carter Davis on the field together... defensive end Donovan Ezeiruaku and defensive tackle Khris Banks combined for a sack in the red zone.
