Eagles Surge Past Stonehill in Elementary Day Win

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball surged past Stonehill with a 101-37 victory on Tuesday afternoon in Conte Forum. The Eagles have won four straight to improve to 7-5, while the Skyhawks are 0-10.Â
It was an all-around performance by the Eagles, who shot a season-best 62.1 percent from the floor en route to their highest point total since the 2019-20 season when the Eagles scored 109.Â
All 10 players who got into the game scored, while eight scored at least seven and four registered double-figure outings. Dontavia Waggoner tied a season-best with 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Andrea Daley registered 15 and five off the glass, while T'yana Todd totaled 14 points thanks to 5-of-6 shooting from the field.Â
Lili Krasovec set a career best with 12 points, seven boards, swatted away a team-best three shots and two steals. Teya Sidberry tied a personal best with 10 rebounds, while Kaylah Ivey dished out 10 assists with six points.
The Eagles took control from the start as it jumped out to a 12-4 lead following a Kayla Lezama trifecta. Krasovec's layup at the end of the quarter gave BC an 18-7 advantage going into the second period. The defense held the Skyhawks to 3-of-15 shooting and missed all six of their 3-point attempts.Â
BC pulled away over the last three periods, scoring at least 26 in all three frames and shot no worse than 56 percent from the field in any quarter. BC hit the century mark with 1:12 left in the century mark in front of over 3,000 screaming elementary students.Â
The Eagles scored 40 points off turnovers, held a 54-12 difference in points in the paint and 44 points from the bench. All five reserves who came in scored at least seven points and shot a combined 18-of-30. JoJo Lacey and Lezama scored nine, while Nene Ndiaye and Ava McGee netted personal bests of seven.Â
BC will have a week off before closing out the non-conference slate against Bryant next Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Conte Forum.Â
