Eagles Host NC State on Friday Night

Eagles take on NC State for the second time this season
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College volleyball returns home against NC State. The action begins Friday at 7 p.m. against the Wolfpack on ACCNX.
Friday's match-up against NC State will be the second meeting of the two teams this season, defeating the Wolfpack last week in five sets. This will be the twenty-eighth meeting all-time between the two teams since 2005. The Eagles are looking for its sixteenth victory against the Wolfpack. The last time the two teams met on Nov. 3, 2023 the Eagles tallied 60 kills and hit .229, while NC State registered 62 kills and a .201 swing percentage.
Last week the Eagles met the Wolfpack in a five set match in an Eagle reverse sweep. Freshman outside hitter Audrey Ross, who also knocked down the game-winner, led the team with 17 kills on a .375 hitting percentage, a career high for Ross. Adding on four blocks, three digs, and one assists grabbing 21 points for the Eagles. Freshman outside hitter Halle Schroder added 14 kills and 16 digs, for her fourth double-double of the season. Senior libero Anna Murphy posted 22 digs and four assists. Senior setter Sophia Lambros led the night with 39 assists, a career high. She added 11 digs, for her sixth double-double effort of the year.
The Eagles return to action Friday Nov. 17 against Syracuse on the road.
