CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Maine Black Bears topped the #14 Boston College women's hockey team, 4-3, on Friday afternoon at Kelley Rink.

The Eagles took a 2-0 lead midway through the first off of the stick of Julia Pellerin and Caroline Goffredo. Maine responded to build a 2-1 lead before the first break. The teams traded goals again to start the second period before Maine scored with 16:36 left to play in the third to give them the edge.

BC had the 28-27 lead in shots on goal.
