Ohio State took advantage of the Eagles' early mistakes to pull away for an 88-66 win. Three Eagles scored in double figures, with T'yana Todd scoring a season-high 16 points. Teya Sidberry and Andrea Daley scored 14 points, while Sidberry grabbed a season-best eight rebounds.Â
A Win Would
- Give BC a 3-2 mark to the season.
- Give the Eagles their first road win of the season.
- Give BC its 18th win in the past 21 meetings against PC.Â
What to Watch for
- Providence is averaging 20 turnovers through the first three games, including two games of at least 23 turnovers. Watch if BC can force the Friars into mistakes, as BC is turning teams over at a clip of over 20 per game.
- T'yana Todd is averaging 14.5 points over the last two games since being inserted into the starting lineup, and is shooting 41.6 percent (5-12) from deep in the same span. See if the sophomore guard can continue her solid play. She scored 15 points against PC last season.
-Â Watch if BC can get to the line after Providence allowed Brown to shoot 21 free throws. The Eagles shot a season-best 83.3 percent from the charity stripe on 15-of-18 shooting at Ohio State.
- See if the defense can get back to its ways after Ohio State shot 61.4 percent from the field, while shooting 64.4 percent from inside the arc. BC is limiting its opponent to 33.3 percent shooting on two-pointers in its two wins (56.7 percent in losses).
- Watch if BC can come up with second-chance opportunities after collecting just 11 offensive rebounds on Thursday. BC went into the Ohio State matchup averaging 17 on the offensive glass.
