Perreault Earns Another Hockey East Rookie of the Week Award

AMESBURY, Mass. – For the second time in three weeks, freshman forward Gabe Perreault has been named the Pro Ambitions Hockey East Rookie of the Week. The league made the announcement on Monday afternoon.

Perreault had a multi-point performance on both nights of a two-game series against Maine, finishing the weekend in Orono with four points on a goal and three assists. He also converted in a shootout on Saturday in a must-score situation, helping the Eagles win in eight rounds to earn two points.

The Hinsdale, Illinois native is riding an eight-game point streak with a scoring line of 2-13-15 during that span. He has six multi-point games and owns a plus-8 rating during the point streak.

Perreault leads Hockey East with 13 assists and ranks second in the league with a team-high 15 points. He has factored into eight of Boston College's last 10 goals as a team.
