Eagles Fall in Four to Wolfpack

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College volleyball team fell in four sets to NC State at home Friday night. The Eagles record moves to 16-13 overall and 5-10 in the ACC.
The first set was back-and-forth, the lead exchanged five times with the score tying 15 times. The Eagles finished the first set on a 3-0 run, 25-22. NC State started set two fast, ultimately taking the set 25-20. The Wolfpack carried over the momentum into the third with a 25-22 win, and finalized the match in the fourth 25-19.
Freshman outside hitter Audrey Ross, led the team with 23 kills a career high for Ross hitting .365 on the night. Ross added on five blocks, five digs, and two service aces, tallying 28 points for the Eagles. Senior outside hitter Katrina Jensen added on 12 kills, her fifth straight match adding 10+ kills.
Senior libero Anna Murphy posted 18 digs and two assists. Senior setter Sophia Lambros led the night with 30 assists, she added five digs, two blocks, and one service.
Boston College is back in action on Friday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. against Syracuse in Syracuse, N.Y.
