Eagles Sit in Fourth After Day One of Iconic Classic

BC only six shots off the lead; Maya Obermüller tied for eighth
LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Boston College sits in fourth place after the opening round of play at the Iconic Classic.
The Eagles were 3-under as a team, shooting a 285 team score. Long Beach State leads the way, followed by Nevada and Boise State.
Maya Obermüller is tied for eighth place, carding a 2-under 70 during Monday's round. Canice Screene is tied for 14th (71), while Cynthia Zhang and Emily Böhrer each carded even-par 72's, putting them in a tie for 24th. Angel Lin was 2-over (74) and is tied for 46th.
