Eagles Top Warriors for Weekend Sweep

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team completed the weekend sweep over Merrimack with a 3-2 victory in overtime.
Merrimack started the scoring off late in the first period to give them a 1-0 advantage. The Eagles scored early into the second period to tie the game on a goal from Gaby Roy. Boston College found the back of the net halfway through the second period on a goal from Sammy Smigliani. Merrimack put away the equalizer with under four minutes left in the second.
Both teams remained deadlocked at 2-2 in the third period forcing overtime. Jade Arnone scored the game-winning goal with under a minute left to give the Eagles the Victory.
