CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Behind a 19-save shutout from Grace Campbell and three different goal scorers, the Boston College women's hockey team earned a 3-0 win over the Merrimack Warriors on Friday afternoon at Kelley Rink.

Sammy Taber, Gaby Roy and Katie Pyne all scored for the Eagles. Taber opened the scoring 12 minutes into the contest, Roy made it 2-0 on a power play in the second period. Pyne found the back of the net on an empty net goal late in the third period for the 3-0.

GAME NOTES

Boston College had the 39-19 lead in shots on goal.
On the power play alone Boston College had 17 shots on goal.
BC now holds a 25-1-0 mark in the all-time series with Merrimack … the Eagles have a mark of 14-1-0 at Kelley Rink … head coach Katie Crowley is now 25-1-0 in her career against the Warriors.
Grace Campbell made 19 saves for her second career shutout … Campbell is now 4-4-1 on the year.
Sammy Taber's goal marked her first career goal. This season she handed out an assist early in the season against Wisconsin.
Pyne has scored in five of the last six games this season, making her the team lead scorer.
