Eagles, Crusaders Battle to 2-2 Tie

Sidney Fess and Katie Pyne scored while Grace Campbell made 24 saves.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's hockey team tied the Holy Cross Crusaders in a 2-2 battle on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
Holy Crosses Emmanuelle Gendron opened the scoring up halfway through the first period. During a power play attempt, Sidney Fess found the back of the net with under five minutes left in the first for the equalizer. Two minutes later the Crusaders took the lead off a goal from Charlotte Sonntag. Pyne scored the equalizer late in the second period. Neither side found the back of the net in the third period sending it to overtime.
Neither team found the back of the net in overtime, but Holy Cross came away with an extra Hockey East point through a shootout victory.
