Pellerin and Campbell Earn Hockey East Weekly Awards
AMESBURY, Mass. - Following a weekend sweep over the 15th-ranked UConn Huskies, freshman Julia Pellerin (Rookie of the Week) and sophomore Grace Campbell (Goaltender of the Week) have earned weekly awards from Hockey East.
Pellerin, a first-year from Windhan, New Hampshire, tallied two goals and one assists for three points on the weekend. She currently leads the Eagles, with six total (3G, 3A) after just her sixth career game.
Campbell picked up her first win of the season, stopping 59 of the 63 shots she faced against UConn. The Kensington, Maryland native made 14 saves in the first period of Friday's game that helped lift Boston College over UConn.
Boston College returns to action Oct. 21-22 for a home-and-home series against Holy Cross.
