Boston College Welcomes Duke and North Carolina

BC faces-off Duke and North Carolina over the weekend
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College remains home this weekend for a set of matches against Duke on Friday at 7 p.m. and North Carolina on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Boston College finished the past weekend with a loss against Wake Forest and the Eagles first home ACC win against Virginia Tech. Defeating the Hokies in three clean sets. Scores of the set were 25-19, 25-19, and 25-17.
Freshman Halle Schoder led the Eagles with 12 kills, tacking on one ace, seven digs, and two blocks. Junior Cornelia Roach led BC with six total blocks and hitting .556 with six kills on nine attempts. Senior setters Grace Penn and Sophia Lambros led the Eagles with a combined 36 assists, Lambros led with 19. Senior libero Anna Murphy led the defense with 12 digs.
Friday night the Eagles meet the Blue Devils for the 24th time. Duke is 11-6 overall and 2-4 in conference play. The Blue Devils are coming off of a three set loss to No. 6 Louisville, last Sunday.
Sunday afternoon BC faces North Carolina for the 26th time. The Tar Heels are 7-8 on the season and 1-5 in ACC play. The Eagles are looking for its second win against the Tar Heels, the last time the Eagles won against UNC was Oct. 21, 2018.
The Eagles return to action on the road Friday Oct. 20 against Florida State and Sunday Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. against Miami.
