BC Gets Set to Face #7 Northeastern, Holy Cross

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team will hit the road this weekend, playing at #7/8 Northeastern on Friday and at Holy Cross on Saturday.

The Eagles and Huskies will face off at 6 p.m. on Friday at Matthews Arena. BC and Holy Cross are set for a 6 p.m. start on Saturday at the Hart Center Rink. Both contests will stream live on ESPN+.

• Boston College closed opened up the second half of the season last weekend with a pair of 4-1 wins at Kelley Rink ... Kelly Browne (3-1-4), Abby Newhook (2-2-4), Hannah Bilka (1-3-4) and Gaby Roy (0-4-4) had four-point weekends ... Abby Levy and Grace Campbell both picked up a win between the pipes while Cayla Barnes was named the Hockey East Army ROTC Defender of the Week.
• BC sits at 13-7-1 overall with a mark of 11-5-0 in Hockey East play.
• Bilka leads the Eagles in points (28), assists (18) and shots on goal (80) ... Bilka's 28 points rank tied for fifth in Hockey East while her 1.40 points per game average ranks fourth.
• Newhook (12-11-23) is second on the team in scoring and first in goals while Roy (4-8-12) and Browne (4-7-11) have also hit double-digits in points.
• Seventeen Eagles have found the scoresheet, including 12 with at least five points.

• Northeastern brings an overall record of 19-2-1 and a Hockey East mark of 15-2-1 into Friday night's contest … the team played a single game this past weekend, topping Boston University, 6-0, to push its winning streak to seven games.
• Alina Mueller leads the Huskies and Hockey East in scoring with 34 points off of 16 goals and 18 assists … Chloe Aurard is right behind with 12 goals and a team-high 20 assists for 32 points … Northeastern has five players with at least 15 points.

• Holy Cross enters the weekend at 3-18-1 overall and 2-14-10 in Hockey East play … the Crusaders, who will host Boston University on Friday afternoon, topped the Terriers, 3-2, at Fenway Park last weekend.
• Mary Edmonds (5-4-9) and Bryn Saarela (4-5-9) are tied for the team lead in points.
• Brooke Loranger and Madison Beck have both seen time between the pipes … Beck is 3-12-0 with a .920 save percentage and 2.67 goals against average while Loranger is 0-6-1 with a .896 save percentage and 3.32 goals against average.
