This will be the 15th matchup between Rhode Island and BC, the Eagles all time record vs the Rams is 5-9 with the most recent match coming on September 20, 2019. BC won in five sets 3-2 on that occasion. Â
Head Coach Jason Kennedy on his goals for his team this weekend:
"We wanna win it, we wanna win on Friday night, that's the first one against LIU (Long Island). There a team that's been to some tournaments a couple times the last few years, they've got some high level experience but we have to continue to improve on our side. I think we can play a little bit cleaner than we did today (against Hartford on Wednesday night) so that gives us something to build on for this weekend."Â
Kate Brennan on her and her team's mentality for The URI Invitational and this season:Â
"As we go through our schedule, the games get tougher and tougher so its important to stay consistent to keep our head in every game, to scout the right way, to prepare the right way and always having those goals in mind."
Up next...
After returning from Kingston, the Eagles will get set for their final weekend tournament before conference play begins as they will head to Queens, N.Y for the St. Johns Classic.Â
