Bilka Named Hockey East Player of the Week

Hannah Bilka has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week.
AMESBURY, Mass. – Boston College forward Hannah Bilka has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week, as announced Monday by the league. The senior had a two-point outing in BC's season-opening win over Franklin Pierce on Saturday.

The Coppell, Texas native scored one goal and had an assist in BC's 4-1 win over the Ravens on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Rink. Bilka assisted on the game-opening goal and then scored an insurance goal to make it a 3-1 midway through the third period. Her assist marked the 50th of her career, making her the 30th player in program history to reach that mark.
The captain added a game-high seven shots on goal and had a plus-two rating. It was Bilka's 23rd career multi-point game.

This is the fourth career Player of the Week honor for Bilka.
