BC Gets Set for Second Straight Home Match

Eagles currently sit at 12-3 on the season after Sunday's win against Duke
CHESTNUT HILL, MASS– After a tough five set win against Duke on Sunday, Boston College will take on Bryant University on Wednesday at 7 p.m at the Margo Connell Recreation Center.Â
The Eagles So Far…Â
BC now sits at 12-3 (1-1 ACC) on the season coming off a win against the Duke Blue Devils in their ACC home opener at the programs first ever match at their new court inside of the Connell Recreation Center. Junior outside hitters Alayna Crabtree (Normal, Ill) and Katrina Jensen (Temecula, Calif) led the way for the offense with 15 kills a piece. Junior Setter Grace Penn, who recently moved over 1000 career assists also had another fantastic performance dishing out 31 assists and adding seven digs as well. BC currently sits at third in the ACC behind Louisville (11-1) and Pitt (11-2). They are second in the conference in overall team hitting percentage and first in total team kills on the season and first in the ACC in total team assists. The Eagles defense has been very good so far this season as well leading the conference in total blocks as a team and second in total digs.Â

This will mark the seventh match in the two programs history, BC holds a 5-1 record with their most recent match coming just earlier this month on September 3rd as the Eagles were able to deliver a 3-1 win on that night. The two sides also met last year during the 2021 season where BC won 3-1 in that one as well.Â
