Eagles complete first day in full pads.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College football held its seventh practice of the preseason on Friday morning. The Eagles completed their six-day acclimatization period and practiced in full pads for the first time in fall camp.

On-Field Observations: Defensive ends Donovan Ezeiruaku and Marcus Valdez both looked strong on the edge again on Friday… the defensive line executed a quick blitz into the backfield and the offensive line responded a play later with a strong pocket for Phil Jurkovec to deliver a 40-yard touchdown pass to Zay Flowers… true freshman wide receiver Joe Griffin Jr. showcased his size and strength on a fade to the end zone from Emmett Morehead… true freshman safety-turned-linebacker Sione Hala collected a pass break-up on the goal line in low-red zone… Morehead completed a tight ball down the sideline to Ishmael Zamor for 30 yards… Jurkovec hit a cutting Jaden Williams in stride in the middle of the field.. Jurkovec also found Dino Tomlin for a touchdown between two defenders in a second low-red zone period… Jurkovec and the Eagles converted a two-point play on a connection to true freshman tight end Jeremiah Franklin.
