
Eagles Set for ACC Championship

The Eagles will head to Lake Hartwell in South Carolina on Friday and Saturday.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – After two weeks of preparation, the Boston College rowing team is set for the two-day ACC Championship May 13-14 on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.

ACC Network Extra coverage is available for the prelims on Friday and the finals on Saturday. A two-hour championship recap show will air on ACC Network on Tuesday, May 24 at 8 p.m. Fans are permitted to attend the championship and admission is free.
Day one action will start on Friday at 8:05 a.m. with the first heat of the 3V8 race, while the finals kick off on Saturday morning at 8:05 a.m. with the petite final of the 3V8.

ACC CHAMPIONSHIP QUICK HITS
-This marks the 12th consecutive and 18th overall time that the ACC Championship is being held at Lake Hartwell.
-Virginia has won the last 11 ACC championships and 20 of the 21 titles.
-At the 2021 ACC Championship, Carmen Ewing earned a spot on the All-ACC Second Team.
-Last year's championship also saw two of BC's boats – the 3V8 and the 2V8 – earn wins in their respective Petite Final rounds.

A FEW FAMILIAR FACES
-The Eagles have raced against three of the eight ACC opponents already this season, having seen Duke, North Carolina, Miami at the Lake Wheeler Invitational back in April
-Additionally, BC faced UNC as part of a double dual at Bucknell.
LAST TIME OUT
-Boston College was last in action on May 1 with the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond.
-BC's 3V8 boat won the 3V8 Petite Final while the 2V4 rowed to a second-place finish in the Varsity Four B Petite Final.
-The V4 and the 2V8 finished in third place in their respective petite finals.
