Garraud Earns All-ACC Academic Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Marnelle Garraud was named to the ACC All-Academic Team, as the conference announced today by the conference.
Garraud is one of two players on the list to be named All-Academic four times in their career.Â
Garraud also earned the 2022 Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford Postgraduate Scholarship earlier this season. She is an information systems/business analytics major, who graduated in December and is currently pursuing her MBA.
The Lynn, Mass. native averaged 7.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game. She led the Eagles in assists and steals while finishing third on the team in 3-pointers made. She helped the Eagles earn a 21-12 for their second 20-win season in three years and their first postseason appearance since 2011.Â
The team features 43 student-athletes, with at least one from each of the ACC's 15 programs. Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
