WEYMOUTH, Mass. -- The Eagles fell to the No. 36 Miami Hurricanes 4-1 on Friday afternoon, claiming the doubles point before Miami clinched in the singles matches. Mason Fung and Jake Vassel gave the Eagles some early momentum with a 6-3 doubles win, and the team of Juan Jose Bianchi and Max Motlagh, currently at No. 64 in the country, followed suit with a 6-2 win of their own to put BC ahead 1-0. Motlagh had established a one set lead in his singles match before it was cut short, as Miami clinched the win elsewhere.
The Eagles will face a quick turnaround as they host No. 26 Florida State tomorrow night at 5:00 back in Weymouth.
