Boccagno homers twice over the weekend
BRIGHTON, Mass. – Boston College (14-14, 2-7) was swept by Virginia (21-12, 8-1) this weekend by the scores of 5-3, 5-2, and 6-5.
Offensively, the Eagles were lead throughout the weekend by Gianna Boccagno (.400/.571/1.600, 2B, 2 HR, 3 RBI), Abigail Knight (.364, 4 H, 1 RBI), Kennedy Labshere (.500, 2 2B, 4 RBI), Darien McDonough (.444/ .500, 4 H, 1 RBI), and Hannah Slike (.400/ .500/ .700, 4 H, 2B, 3B).
The Eagles (14-14, 2-7) are back in ACC action Friday evening when they travel to No. 7 Duke (23-5, 8-2) at Duke Softball Stadium. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m. All three games will be streamed on ACCNX.
