Eagles Win Szambecki Team Race to Continue their Strong Spring

BC also logged three more top-two finishes to cap off successful weekend
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The strong spring season continued for the Eagles over the weekend, highlighted by their victory in the Aaron Szambecki Team Race hosted by Old Dominion. With skippers Jack DeNatale, Sophia Reineke, and Robert Hunter, and crew Laura Ferraris, Katelyn McGauley, Emma Batcher, and Declan McGranahan, the Eagles went 12-1, dropping just one race over the two days and going 4-0 in Top 6 in the win.Â
Elsewhere, the Eagles recorded three more strong finishes, placing second in the BU Team Race, Seahawk Women's Team Race, and Harpswell Sound Team Race.Â
Four more regattas are on tap for the Eagles next weekend, including the NEISA Women's Team Race Conference Championships.Â
