BC only drops one set all match in shutout

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- The Eagles took care of business in the 2022 home opener, blanking Siena and winning 7-0 while dropping just one set all match.

The doubles teams of Max Motlagh and Juan Jose Bianchi, and Mason Fung and Jake Vassel secured the first point of the day and the Eagles didn't look back. Oliver Worth and Will Kasten came from behind to sweep the doubles. Motlagh, Worth, and Vassel all took home their singles matches in straight sets to make it 4-0 Eagles, followed by Bianchi and Kasten to make it 6-0. In the final match of the day Mason Fung won the second set 7-5 to preserve the shutout.

The Eagles will head to Providence for a showdown with Brown this Wednesday at 4:00.
