Eagles Post Several Personal Bests at Scarlet & White Invite

Denis Gallagher placed 4th in the 1,000m; David Scherrer clocked 1:51.56 in the 800m
BOSTON, Mass. — The Boston College men's track & field team performed well at the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite on Saturday, held the BU Track & Tennis Center.
The Eagles' runners posted several personal-best performances on the afternoon.
In the 500m, Jackson Sigalove ran a personal-best 1:05.92 to place 16th overall. Jalon Williams led a trio of BC runners in the 200, finishing 26th in a time of 22.14. Marcus Manson posted a PR of 22.71, good for 53rd place.
Each of the four BC entrants in the 1,000m registered a PR, led by Denis Gallagher's 2:25.84, which placed him fourth.
David Scherrer crossed the finish line in 1:51.56 in the 800m - also a personal-best time. Edward Tristine set a new PR in the mile, finishing 12th in a time of 4:12.66.
