The Eagles so far...Â
BC Volleyball is now 21-13 on the season after 3-0 wins against Buffalo and St. Johns. They set a new single season program record with their 21st win over the Red Storm. No team had previously won more than 20 matches which had happened only twice prior to this season, in 2019 which was also coached by current head coach Jason Kennedy and in 2004 led by former head coach Andrea Leonard. Kennedy also has a chance to tie the all time career BC coaching wins record, he is just one shy of the current record which is 80 in seven seasons by Andrea Leonard, Kennedy who is finishing up his fifth season as coach has a chance to tie and break the record in more one fewer seasons then Leonard. The Eagles look to be getting hot at the right time at the moment, coming off two dominating wins this past weekend. It's been the trio of Seniors who BC has continued to lean on, right side Izzy Clavenna (Dallas, Texas), outside hitter Silvia Ianeselli (Trento, Italy), and middle blocker Kate Brennan (Endicott, N.Y) delivered more of their familiar rock solid play on Friday and Saturday. In the last two matches Clavenna totaled 19 kills on an average .528 hitting percentage and 7 total blocks, including a career high 6 blocks against St. John's, Ianselli tallied 18 kills on an average .467 hitting percentage, to go along with 16 digs and three total blocks and Brennan went for 11 kills, two service aces, five digs and eight total blocks.
