
Five Eagles Named to U.S. Roster for December Rivalry Series

Current Eagles Cayla Barnes and Hannah Bilka along with Alex Carpenter ’16, Kali Flanagan ’19 and Megan Keller ’19 will skate for the U.S. when it faces Canada.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Five Boston College Eagles have been named to the U.S. National Team roster for the December Rivalry Series games against Canada.

Current Eagles Cayla Barnes and Hannah Bilka along with Alex Carpenter '16, Kali Flanagan '19 and Megan Keller '19 will skate for the U.S. when it faces Canada in Henderson, Nev. on Dec. 15 and in Los Angeles, Calif. on Dec. 19.
Both contests will air live on NHL Network.

Keller and Carpenter were on the U.S. roster for the three-game Rivalry set last month, with Carpenter registering two goals and two assists for four points across the three U.S. victories.

Barnes and Bilka, along with Keller and Carpenter, were most recently were members of the silver-medal winning team at the 2022 IIHF Women's World Championships in August. In what was her debut with the senior U.S. National Team, Bilka finished the tournament third overall in scoring with 12 points on five goals and seven assists. Barnes tallied five points on one goal and four assists, Carpenter had two goals and seven helpers for nine points while Keller racked up nine points off of one goal and eight assists.

All five Eagles took part in the 2022 USA Hockey Women's National Festival in Buffalo, N.Y. this past August.
Additionally, Boston College women's hockey equipment manager, Jeff Mobley, was selected to the USA Hockey staff for the series.
