
Eagles Earn OT Win at Holy Cross

Abby Newhook scored two minutes into overtime for a 2-1 win.
WORCESTER, Mass. – Abby Newhook scored two minutes into overtime to push the Boston College women's hockey team past Holy Cross, 2-1, on Friday night at the Hart Center Rink.
A scoreless first period gave way to the team's trading goals in the opening three minutes of the middle frame. Cailin Flynn's second of the year put BC up but the Crusaders answered 90 seconds later.
The third period saw no goals before the Eagles killed off a penalty to start overtime before Newhook wristed home the game-winning goal from the left circle.
