
BC Prepares For Rematches Against Duke and Syracuse

The Eagles will head to Durham to take on the Blue Devils before returning to Chestnut Hill to host Cuse
The Eagles So Far...
BC now sits at 17-11 on the season and 5-9 in the ACC. The Eagles are coming off a 1-1 weekend where they took down Virginia in five sets this past Friday and lost to #7 Pittsburgh on Sunday. Fridays match against the Cavaliers was down to the wire to the very end with three of the five sets being decided by less then two points. Sophomore middle blocker Jenna Pollock continued her fantastic play as of late with 14 kills on a .448 hitting percentage, five total blocks, six digs and two service aces and Junior outside hitter Katrina Jensen added 13 kills of her own as well. The Eagles as a team currently stand at sixth in the ACC in hitting percentage at .225 and first in the conference in total kills at 1369. They also lead the conference in total assists on the season and are third in assists per set at 12.07. They have shown some impressive defense at the net as well this season ranking second in the conference in total blocks as a team at 254 and are also fifth in blocks per set at 2.37. BC also leads the ACC in service aces on the season and are fifth in aces per set.

Duke: Friday afternoon's match will be the 27th time the two programs have met, the Blue Devils currently hold the advantage at 4-22 all time. Duke is currently 14-11 overall this season and 5-9 in the ACC.Â
Syracuse: Sunday's matchup will be the 34th meeting between the Eagles and Orange. BC is currently 8-25 all time in the series. Syracuse holds an 11-13 overall record so far this season and 7-7 in the conference.Â
