
Eagles Set to Race at ACC Cross Country Championships

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass – The Boston College men's and women's cross country team will compete in the 2022 ACC Championships on Friday morning in Charlottesville, Va.
The men's 8K will kick things off at 10:40 a.m., followed by the women's 6K at 11:30 a.m. Both races will be streamed live from Panorama Farms on ACC Network Extra.
The Eagles return to Charlottesville just 13 days after competing in the Panorama Farms XC 23 Invitational on October 15, with the women's team placing 11th.
The defending ACC and national champion N.C. State leads five ACC schools ranked in the latest poll, continuing to hold the top spot in the nation as they have all season. No. 6 Notre Dame and No. 8 North Carolina join the Wolfpack in the top-ten nationally, while No. 15 Syracuse and No. 25 Virginia also enter the weekend ranked.
Following the conclusion of the women's championship, the top 21 finishers from each race will receive All-ACC honors. The top true freshman in both races will be recognized as the ACC Freshman of the Year. ACC Runners of the Year and Coaches of the Year will be determined following the completion of the NCAA Championships towards the end of November.
