BC to Face No. 3 Northeastern in First Round of 43rd Beanpot

The semifinal tilt between the Eagle and the Huskies is slated for a 7:30 p.m. start.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team will face the host school and third-ranked Northeastern on Tuesday night in the first round of the 43rd Women's Beanpot Semifinal. Puck drop of the second semifinal of the day is set for 7:30 p.m., following the conclusion of the Boston University-Harvard semifinal at 4 p.m.

• The Eagles won their first Beanpot in 2006 ... BC was the Beanpot champion in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
• BC has appeared in seven of the last 10 championship games and 13 of the last 20, missing the final in 2004, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2019 and 2020.

• BC also hosted Providence College on Tuesday Jan. 25, topping the Friars 4-2 ... four different Eagles scored, including Hannah Bilka and Newhook with three-point nights.
