
Eight Eagles Named to All-ACC Academic Football Team

Academic and athletic achievement are considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.  – Eight members of the Boston College football program were named to the 2021 All-ACC Academic Football Team, announced Tuesday by the league office.

Making the team from Boston College were Brandon Barlow, Grant Carlson, Isaiah Graham-Mobley, Zion Johnson, Connor Lytton, Vinny DePalma, Marcus Valdez and Jaiden Woodbey.

Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

All 14 ACC football member institutions were represented on the team. Clemson led all schools with 12 selections, followed by Wake Forest (11), Duke (9) and Boston College (8).

The ACC has selected an All-ACC Academic Football Team every year since 1954. The team was chosen from a pool of ACC football student-athletes who were nominated by their schools.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
