BC Set to Host Providence on Tuesday Night

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team will host Providence College for a single game on Tuesday night at Kelley Rink. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m., and the Hockey East contest will air live on NESN+.

All games this season will be made available across the U.S. and internationally on SportsLive, while all games televised on NESN and NESN+ and other select matchups will also be made available on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports app outside of New England.

• Boston College played a home-and-home series with Holy Cross this past weekend, picking up a 4-1 win at home on Friday and a 3-1 road win on Saturday...Alexie Guay and Abby Newhook each scored in both contests while Kelly Browne racked up five assists en route eclipsing 100 career points.
• The Eagles hosted No. 3 Northeastern on Tuesday, Jan. 18, falling 5-0.
• BC sits at 12-11-0 overall with a mark of 10-8-0 in Hockey East play.
• Newhook leads the Eagles with 20 points off of 11 goals and nine assists while Browne has 19 points on a team-high 13 assists and six goals ... Hannah Bilka is third on the team in scoring with 18 points off of nine goals and nine assists while firing a team-leading 91 shots on goal.
• Overall, 21 players on the roster have registered at least one point, including goaltender Abigail Levy with an assist.

ABOUT PROVIDENCE COLLEGE
• The Friars traveled to Vermont over the weekend, dropping 3-1 and 4-1 contests ... the Friars stand at8-9-5 overall and 5-8-2 in Hockey East play ... Providence is 2-7-3 on the road this season.
• Lindsay Bochna has a team-leading 14 points off of six goals and eight assists while scoring two power-play goals and adding 71 shots on goal ... Hayley Lunny has 13 points off of five goals and eight assists.
• Sandra Abstreiter and Mireille Kingsley have both played between the pipes ... Abstreiter is 4-7-3 with 1.70 goals against average, .945 save percentage and two shutouts ... Kingsley is 4-2-0 with a 1.60 goals against average, .942 save percentage and one shutout.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST PROVIDENCE
• Boston College is 40-41-3 all-time against Providence since elevating to Division I status for the 1995-96 season.
• BC is 21-18-2 at Kelley Rink and 17-2-1 in games played at Schneider Arena on top of its 2-2-0 mark in neutral-site games.
• The teams split a home-and-home series back in November, with both team earning 2-1 wins at home, with Providence picking up the win on Nov. 12 and BC tallying an overtime victory at Kelley Rink on Nov. 13.
