Browne, Pickreign Help BC Past Holy Cross

Browne tallied three assists to reach 100 career points while Pickreign made 32 saves for the win.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Kelly Browne had three assists while Kelly Pickreign made 32 saves as the Boston College women's hockey team topped Holy Cross, 4-1, on Friday afternoon at Kelley Rink.
After a scoreless first period, the teams combined for four goals in the middle frame. The Eagles took a 3-1 lead into the third period thanks to Willow Corson, Abby Newhook and Alexie Guay, and then Hannah Bilka made it 4-1 midway through the third period. Guay finished with two points on one goal and one assist.

- Holy Cross had the 33-28 lead in shots on goal … the Crusaders went 0-for-4 on the power play while the Eagles were 1-for-3.
- BC now holds a record of 10-0-0 in the all-time series with Holy Cross, including a mark of 6-0-0 at Kelley Rink … head coach Katie Crowley is 10-0-0 all-time against the Crusaders.
- Kelly Pickreign made 32 saves for her first win of the season … she's now 2-0-0 all-time against the Crusaders.
- Kelly Browne registered three assists to become the 21st player in program history to reach the 100 career point mark … her three assists marked the 13th career multi-assist game and her 24th career multi-point game.
- Browne assisted on Abby Newhook's game-winning goal for her 15th career game-winning assist.
- Newhook recorded her fifth game-winning goal of the season … she ranks second in the nation and leads all first-year players with her five game-winning goals.
- Newhook is the first BC rookie to score five game-winning goals in a season since Haley Skarupa '16 scored five during her 2012-13 rookie season.
- Willow Corson scored her 15th career goal ... the Eagles are now 14-0-0 all-time when she scores a goal.
- Alexie Guay recorded one goal and one assist for her ninth career multi-point game.
- Kiley Erickson recorded her first collegiate point with an assist on the game's first goal.
- With her goal, Hannah Bilka became the 33rd player in program history to reach 30 career goals.
