Sonia Walk Named to Canada Soccer U-20 Training Camp Roster

Walk is one of seven midfielders named to the 25-player roster that come in preparation for the 2022 Concacaf Women’s Under-20 Championship.
OTTAWA, Ontario – Boston College women's soccer player Sonia Walk has been named to the Canada Soccer Women's U-20 roster ahead of the January U-20 identification camp in Markham, Ontario.
Walk is one of seven midfielders named to the 25-player roster that will train in preparation for the 2022 Concacaf Women's Under-20 Championship which is set to begin in late February in the Dominican Republic.
The Toronto, Ontario native represented Canada at the 2020 Concacaf U-20 Championships, and was a member of Canada's U-17 team that was a semifinalist at the 2018 Women's World Cup as well as the 2016 U-15 Concacaf Tournament silver medalist team.
Walk, a sophomore, played in all 18 of BC's contests this fall. She logged 1,327 minutes, good for third among BC field players, and she played at least 75 minutes in 12 games.
