White Places Ninth at the Coast to Coast Battle in Beantown

Eagles finish ninth overall as a team
BOSTON, Mass. — Lauren White led all Boston College finishers at the Coast to Coast Battle in Beantown, placing ninth overall. White covered the five-kilometer course in a time of 17:23 - a personal-best time for her at Franklin Park.
Anna Oeser made her season debut, crossing the finish line in 39th place in a time of 18:03. Kylee Raftis finished one second behind Oeser, in 41st place (18:04). Paige Carter was 52nd overall in a time of 18:17, followed by Sarah Flynn in 66th place (18:25).
Sorcha McAllister and Roshni Singh each crossed the line in 18:29, in 77th and 79th place respectively. Weronika Lewna (84th, 18:34), Miriam Ruoff (91st, 18:42), and Caroline McClelland (153rd, 19:33) rounded out the Boston College finishers in the women's 5K.
As a team, the Eagles placed ninth overall, compiling 201 points. North Carolina (63) won the team title, followed by Providence (82), Duke (115), and Connecticut (122).
A convocation of Eagles competed in the open 5K, led by Katherine Mitchell's time of 18:41. Mitchell placed second, followed by Kayla Smith (18:43) in third and Katherine Connolly (18:47) in fourth.
