Eagles Set to Play in 2021 Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach

BC will face Utah on Nov. 20 at the Ocean Center

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College will take on Utah on Saturday, Nov. 20 as part of the 2021 Sunshine Slam in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The Eagles will take on either Tulsa or Rhode Island on the other side of the Championship Bracket at the Ocean Center on Sunday, Nov. 21. It will mark the fourth time that BC and Utah have met on the hardwood. Each of the previous meetings have been on a neutral court, including the Eagles' 58-51 win over the Utes in the opening round of the 2004 NCAA Tournament in Milwaukee.

Boston College will begin play in the Sunshine Slam at home, hosting Holy Cross on Friday, Nov. 12. With 112 previous matchups, the Crusaders are tied with Providence as BC's most common opponent.
