Eagles honor Senior Class following the game
BRIGHTON, Mass. – A three-run fourth inning proved to be the difference as Louisville captured a series split with a 4-1 victory Sunday afternoon at Harrington Athletics Village.

The Cardinals moved to 19-25-1 and 13-19-1 in the ACC with the win while BC fell to 13-29 overall and 9-20 in the ACC.

Louisville struck first with a run in the second before the three-run fourth.
Â
BC had an opportunity to get back into it in the fifth when the Eagles loaded the bases, but BC could only muster one run in the frame on a RBI groundout by Djhane Valido.

Susannah Anderson tossed her third complete game of the series for BC in the circle.

Following the game, Boston College honored its 2021 senior class. Student manager Owen Kelly and seniors CC Cook, Gianna Randazza, Jules Trevino, Jenna Ergle and Emme Martinez were honored for all of their contributions to BC Softball.

Boston College closes out the regular season next weekend with a four-game series at Notre Dame. The series begins Friday at 5 p.m. live on ACC Network Extra.
