The Eagles were tied with Northwestern for the third-most players selected with five. They only trailed North Carolina (7) and Syracuse (6).
Â
North has had one of the best statistical seasons in the country, scoring 86 goals and adding 10 assists for 96 points. She's second in the nation in goals and fourth in goals per game at 4.78. Earlier this year against Virginia Tech, she broke the BC record for goals in a game and then broke the BC record for goals in a NCAA Tournament game with eight against Temple. A native of Dallas, North was an All-ACC first team selection and one of five Tewaaraton Award finalists, given to the nation's best player.
Â
Schleicher, an All-ACC first team selection, moved from the midfield to defense this season. She has 74 draw controls, 24 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers so far this season. Her 74 draws are the ninth-most in a single season at BC.
Â
Smith was the only freshman named to any all-region first team and the only freshman on either the All-ACC first or second team. She has 43 goals and 12 assists for 55 points this year. Smith is currently tied with Covie Stanwick and Brooke Blue for the most points in a freshman season at BC. A native of Westhampton, New York, Smith was also named the Inside Lacrosse Midseason Rookie of the Year.
Â
Medjid has been one of BC's top scoring threats this year, scoring 50 goals with 16 assists this season. She was an All-ACC second team selection earlier this season. Against Louisville on March 28, Medjid tied the BC record for goals in a game, scoring nine in BC's 18-3 win on just 11 shots. So far in the NCAA Tournament, she has 15 points on eight goals and seven assists in two games.
Â
Urbank, an All-ACC second team selection, has been one of BC's most versatile attackers, totaling a career-high 75 points on 36 goals and 39 assists this year.
