Boston College earned its first team victory of the season - and the first tournament title in close to three seasons - at The Connecticut Cup.
BC posted a 21-stroke victory over second place Connecticut. The Eagles registered a total team score of 875 (293-291-291), dominating the par 5 holes, playing them at 9-under for the tournament.
The Eagles were led by individual medalist Brandon Kewalramani, who earned his first collegiate victory. The senior finished 2-over for the 54-hole tournament, opening with a pair of 1-over 73's during the first two rounds. Kewalramani closed with a final round even-par score of 72. He birdied 18 to secure his one-shot victory over Iona's Justin Burkhamer. Kewalramani had 36 pars and eight birdies for the tournament.
It was the first individual medalist for BC since the 2019 fall campaign, when Christian Cavaliere won the Wildcat Invitational.
In total, Boston College had four golfers in the top five of the tournament. Jordan Warnock and Patrick Wu tied for third place, two strokes behind Kewalramani.
Warnock opened the tournament with a score of 74, and posted back-to-back rounds of 73 to finish at 4-over. Warnock led the field in par 4 scoring, averaging 4.03 strokes per par 4, playing the holes at a total of 1-over. Wu carded an even-par 72 during Thursday's first day of play and registered consecutive rounds of 74 to close out action. He registered 36 pars and seven birdies.
Nick Cummings tied for fifth place. He posted scores of 74-73-74 for the three rounds, for a total score of 221. Cummings logged one of the tournament's five eagles - posting a three on the par 5 13th hole during the final round.
Kevin Paek tied for 16th place over, playing some of the best golf of the entire field over the final 36 holes of play. Paek was at even-par over the second and third rounds, posting consecutive scorecards of 72. Paek made 33 pars and seven birdies.
BC had three individual competitors - Muzzy Donohue (84-76-72=232) finished 41st, posting his best round of the tournament during Saturday's final round - an even-par 72. Ryan Kinkead tied for 57th place (78-79-81=238) while Mac Lee tied for 64th (78-82-81=241).
