Eagles Qualify for Team Race Nationals with Second at NEISA

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Boston College sailing team qualified for Team Race Nationals on Sunday with a second place showing at the NEISA Team Race Championship, hosted by the Coast Guard Academy.
Skippers Colleen O'Brien, Robert Hunter and Jack DeNatale along with crew Laura Ferraris, Jack Plavan, Emma Batcher, Declan McGranahan and Elizabeth Russell combined to post a record of 8-4. Roger Williams won the Fowle Trophy with a 9-3 record.Â
The Eagles will compete in the ICSA Team Race Championship on June 2-3 at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. BC will also compete at the Women's National Championship on May 19-20 and the Coed National Championship on June 7-8 at Navy.
