
Another Two-Day Weekend on Tap for Eagles

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College rowing team will hit the Charles River this weekend for two days of racing against local competition. The Eagles are set to host UMass and Boston University on Saturday, May 1 followed by Rhode Island, Northeastern and Boston University on Sunday, May 2.

This weekend marks the final set of preparation for the Eagles ahead of the ACC Championship, which is set to take play May 14-15 at Clemson.

ABOUT LAST WEEKEND
-Boston College had a busy two days last weekend, with the V8 boats competing in the Lake Wheeler Invitational in North Carolina while the V4 boats raced locally against Brown and Boston University.
-At the Lake Wheeler Invitational, BC was able to earn a second-place finish in the Varsity Eight Final 2 and a subsequent overall sixth-place finish … the Eagles' 2V8 boat won its V8 Final 2 by a narrow 1.463 margin to wind up in fifth place overall.

HELLO, AGAIN
-The Eagles have already raced against Boston University this spring, racing against the BU lightweight crew on April 10 as well as the BC four boat seeing the Terriers this past weekend.
-BC was supposed to race Rhode Island on April 17 but the meeting was cancelled due to inclement weather … this will be BC's first time seeing the Huskies.
