CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The No. 11 Boston College field hockey team fell at Virginia, 1-0, on Friday, April 2 down in Charlottesville.
Jonna Kennedy got the nod in goal, making three saves on the day. Jaime Natale had the Eagles only shot on goal during the game.
The Eagles were out-shot, 8-4. It was a game with limited stoppages with Virginia getting only two penalty corners and BC one.
Virginia's Annie McDonough scored the game's lone goal on a reverse in the 34th minute.
BC is back in action on Wednesday, April 7 at UMass at 4 p.m.
