NEWTON, Mass. – The Boston College men's soccer team topped American International College, 3-0, on Wednesday night at the Newton Campus Soccer Field.
Michael Suski opened the scoring for the Eagles in 23rd minute, putting home a ball for a 1-0 lead that would hold until halftime.
BC then struck twice in the 60th minute, with Amos Shapiro-Thompson and Nikita Bondar scoring 23 seconds apart for a 3-0 lead. Christian Garner's punching save late in the game kept the Yellowjackets off the board.
Boston College wraps up the 2021 spring season with a record of 2-3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- 23' | Michael Suski got the ball in the box on the left side and then made a few fakes to beat a defender and open a shooting lane to the far-right post.
- 60' | Suski took a shot and the rebound popped out to Amos Shapiro-Thompson, who slotted it past the goalkeeper.
- 60' | From the edge of the box, Nikita Bondar took a pass from Suski and finished it past the goalkeeper.
- Boston College had the 24-2 lead in shots and the 10-1 lead in shots on goal.
- The Eagles had a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.
- Christian Garner finished with one save for the Eagles in earning his third shutout of the season … it marks his seventh career shutout.
- Ioannis Iatroudis started for AIC and made one save … Michael Tranghese made six saves in the second half.
- Michael Suski recorded his first career multi-assist game with two … his four points on one goal and two assists marked a career-high.
- Nikita Bondar's goal marked his first since Aug. 27, 2017.
- Gualtiero Barilla made his first career appearance … Shrey Sharma made his first career appearance.
