Kennedy Named ACC Defensive Player of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – After a 2-0 weekend, Jonna Kennedy has been named ACC Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the conference Tuesday.
Kennedy went 2-0 with a shutout win over UMass and a 2-1 (2OT) win over No. 8 Syracuse.
Against Syracuse, Kennedy had one of the best goalkeeping performances in program history, making 21 saves to lead BC to the win.
Kennedy leads the ACC with a .792 save percentage and 7.60 saves per game, while she is fourth in the ACC with a 2.008 goals against average.
BC is back in action Wednesday, April 14 at Providence at 3 p.m.
