Boston College posted its second consecutive team victory, taking the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational by seven strokes over host Sacred Heart.
The Eagles posted a team score of 581, posting a first round score of 291, followed by a 290 during Monday's final round. BC led the field in par 3 and par 5 scoring. On par 3 holes, BC averaged 3.08 strokes per hole, playing them at +3 over the two rounds. The Eagles were 8-under for the par 5 holes, averaging 4.8 strokes per hole. Boston College ranked second in the field in par 4 scoring (4.21 avg. / +21).
The Eagles were led by Nick Cummings and Kevin Paek, who tied for third place overall with a 1-under total of 143. Cummings shot a team-best 70 (-2) in the opening round, finishing with a second day 73. Cummings led the field in par 4 scoring. With a 3.9 stroke average, playing the holes at 2-under, while also leading the field with 27 pars.
Paek posted 25 pars and seven birdies for his 36 holes of play. Paek opened with an even-par 72 and closed it out with a 1-under 71 on Monday. Paek led the field in par 3 scoring (2.88 stroke average), playing the holes at 1-under.
Brandon Kewalramani tied for eighth place, with a 2-over total of 146. He opened with a 74 during Sunday's opening day of competition, before closing with an even-par 72 on Monday. He posted 24 pars and five birdies.
Jordan Warnock posted a pair of 75's during Sunday and Monday's rounds, tying for 19th place with a total score of 150. Warnock carded seven birdies over the 36 holes of play.
Patrick Wu played his best golf on Monday, posting a 2-over 74. He tied for 32nd place (80-74=154), with 18 pars and five birdies.
BC had three individual competitors - Muzzy Donohue (84-76-72=232) finished tied for 13th place. He posted his best round - a 1-under 71 - on Monday. He posted five birdies and an eagle. Mac Lee tied for 38th place (72-84=156), registering an even-par 72 during the first round. Ryan Kinkead also tied for 38th place (80-76=156)
